PickTone is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

Data We Collect

Microphone audio: PickTone accesses your microphone solely for real-time pitch detection (tuner). Audio is processed entirely in your browser and is never recorded, stored, or transmitted to any server.

Local storage: Your preferences (language, BPM, time signature, volume, reference pitch, panel order) are saved in your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device.

Third-Party Services

• Google Fonts: Font files are loaded from Google's servers. Google may collect anonymized usage data. See Google's Privacy Policy.
• Cloudflare: PickTone is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may collect standard web traffic logs. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

Cookies

PickTone does not use cookies. We use localStorage for saving your preferences, which is not shared with any third party.

Analytics & Advertising

PickTone does not currently use any analytics or advertising services. This policy will be updated if that changes.

Children's Privacy

PickTone does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
